diamond bird
« on: October 17, 2011, 02:33:36 PM »
From life’s inflicted pain
a wounded bird is rescued
with dull and dusty plumage
cleansing and healing ensued

emerging ‘neath the layering
a lustre of adamantine glow
with almost flawless clarity
coloured the fancy pink of rose

the light of life reflects from your facets
refracting rainbows shine from your being
multitudes of carat in character
a gem of exceptional quality

dry eyed I went to sleep one night
and awakened to a wet eyed morn
my beautiful diamond bird
had flown the coop at dawn

Louis...  Needless to say, but this is a true gem.
You have so much talent when it comes to penning your thoughts.
Thank you for sharing this with us.

Ek stem!  Pragtig geskryf.  Elke woord op die regte plek om sy eie verhaal te vertel.   :hello2:
Om te weet is om te verstaan.

Just had to read this again.

Moet nooit sonder 'n potloodjie en 'n stukkie plank in jou sak loop nie.
Daar is baie om neer te skryf as jy so visvang.
