Title: gebou val om

Ek kry 'n e pos en wonder of dit waar kan wees van 'n 13 verdieping gebou in China wat omgeval het. Ek kyk toe op die net en dit lyk asof dit waar kan wees.

AN ENTIRE 13-STORY BUILDING IN CHINA LYING ON THE GROUND.

(1)  An underground garage was being dug on the south
side of the building to a depth of 4.6 metres (15 ft).

(2) The excavated  dirt was being piled up on the north
side of the building to a height of 10 metres (32 ft).

(3) They dug right  up to the base of the building.
Then the rains came.

(4) The building experienced uneven lateral  pressure
from  north to south.

(5) This  resulted in a lateral pressure of 3,000 tonnes,
which was greater than  what the un-reinforced pilings
could tolerate. Thus, the building toppled completely
over in a southerly direction.

First, the apartment building was constructed.*

Then the plan called for an underground garage to be dug out.
The excavated soil was piled up on the other side of the building.

*Heavy rains resulted in water seeping into the ground.*

The building began to tilt. Then it began to shift and the
"hollow" concrete pilings snapped due to the uneven
lateral pressures.

And thus was born the eighth wonder of the world.

Notice that there's NO rebar in the pilings!
Just some wire mesh.

They built 13 storeys on  grade, with no basement
and tied it all down to hollow pilings with no rebar.

manufacture nearly EVERYTHING we buy and use today?

Dit is die waarheid ja.  Ons het 'n artikel daaroor gelees en al is dit jammer, is dit verbasend snaaks.

Ek het ook die artikel al gelees, maar ek is seker hierdie het al 'n HELE paar jaar terug gebeur?? aangesien ek dit al 'n hele ruk terug gelees het en dit was toe al 'n ouerige artikel?

Ek is absoluut gafassineer hierdeur. Kan nie glo dat die gebou self nie in stukke opgebreek het nie.
Daar moes beslis mense binne die gebou gewees het en is nie net beseer, maar ook dood. Moet wees.
Afgryslik as jy dink die ander geboue daar naby is op dieselfde manier gebou, en dalk nog baie meer. Is sekerlik ontruim.

ek het op die net gaan soek daaroor en daar word vertel dis 'n nuwe gebou wat nog nie betrek was nie en daar was niemand binne in nie. die mense wat die woonstelle gekoop het was baie boos want hulle sou binne 'n paar weke kon intrek en nou lê hulle woonstel op die grond.

Sien jy nou wat sê ek van mense,  ons sal altyd kla oor iets.  Hulle moet mos bly wees dit het voor die intrek
plaasgevind.   :icon_biggrin:  Dit is soos ek, kla steun en been dat dit koud is,  wag nog 'n paar weke dan hoor julle my kla omdat dit so warm is.   :icon_biggrin:
