Ek hmmm en haaa met elke foto!  Verduidelik asseblief wat die doel van die katrol is.

die katrol het 'n boei aan bo op die water sodat die boot se skipper kan sien waar ons is. Ek het 'n opblaasbare rooioranje boei aan tou en katrol wat ek soms opblaas voor ek opgaan, veral as ek voor die ander uit lug raak en gouer moet opgaan. gewoonlik as mens dan so opgaan is jy (en jou duikmaat) weg van die groep wat by die leier swem met die boei, want die stroom vat jou weg van hulle af,.  Wanneer die skipper dan sien hier pop 'n boei uit dan weet hy iemand is op pad en kan hy solank stadig nader beweeg. Die boei word ook baie  makliker op die oppervlakte raak gesien as die duiker wat bo dryf. Dit help ook as jy van die kant af inswem om te duik om vir bote te wys hier is duikers hier onder.

dis waar, as jy onk is hou jy jou slim en wil nie vra nie en dan bly jy dom en waneer jy oud raak hou jy jou dom en vra uit en raak slim.
