				Softly in the night
 On witch’s whisper
 Branches, twigs groaning, leaves rustling
 As cold settles gently
 A misty curling blanket
 Whilst in inkblack sky
The starry night blink, contentedly sigh
 What a glorious night

 Early in the morn
 An armada sunrays
 Gently rushes in
 Darting into corners dark
Brushing shadow with its golden shine
To chase the cold of night
And its curling misty blanket white
Into the yonder far far away
 Oh it’s a beautiful morn

 Lightshafts in brilliant flashes
 A kaleidoscope painting of colours
 Bursting from icicle crystal chandeliers
Swinging swaying from twig and tree
Glittering on frost covered soil and grass
All the while casting shadows elongated long
 From treetrunk robbed
 Of its mantle, leafy green
 As the sunray armada
 Silently warm the frozen earth
 ‘Tis a wondrous winters day

Die hele gedig is soooo mooi en dit lees so lekker.  Ek sien die prentjies soos wat jy dit optower! Bursting from icicle crystal chandeliers

Pragtig Natalie,  ek lief hierdie gedig.
