ierland 2015 # 12 A Tintern abbey

Ons het Maandagaand seker half 9 by oom Jimmy en tannie Agnes aangekom.
Volgende oggend het oom Jimmy ons rond gewys en eerste het ons na die Tintern abby toe gegaan. 10 jaar gelede toe ons daar was het die mense die plek mooi gemaak vir besoekers en ek wou gaan kyk hoe dit nou lyk.

baie interessante geskiedenis wat oor 880 jaar strek

Hierdie was een van die houtpanele wat teen van die mure was vir koue uithou. Let op die onderste deel van die paneel is glad afgewerk waar die ander 3 sye patroon op het. Die rede daarvoor is dat die glad moet help dat die stof makilk kan afval en nie vergader nie.
